Explosives seized on Mumbai-Agra National highway

Explosives worth Rs1.25 lakh and four vehicle carrying them were seized on Mumbai-Agra-National highway in Sarul-Shivar, police said today.

The intention behind carrying these explosives stock is not yet known, they said.

The consignment containing 43 bags of ammonia nitrate, 200 gelatin sticks, 1500 detonators, bears the name of Balaji Fireworks (Dhule), Balaji and Company (Parola) and Sai Corporation (Aurangabad), police said.
