Chopper joyride for just Rs3,333 from September

Mumbaikars can now surprise their loved ones by taking them on a chopper joyride.

Come September, one can easily book a chopper and get an aerial view of the Bandra-Worli Sea Link or the Juhu beach for as low as Rs3,333.

Airnetz Aviation, which provides private jet, chopper and turbo prop charter aircraft, has decided to reduce its price to Rs3,333.

Airnetz Charter Aviation Private Limited has a fleet of 200 aircraft in India and 1,500 globally.

“After tremendous response for joyrides in the past years, Airnetz is cutting down its price and a joyride is available for just Rs3,333 per person,” said a spokesperson of the Airnetz Charter Aviation Private Ltd.

In May, Airnetz had lowered the price of these joyrides from Rs10,000 to Rs7,500. As a result many Mumbaikars took to the skies to celebrate birthdays, anniversaries, or just to get an aerial view of the city.

“After getting a huge response, we have decided to reduce the price to Rs3,333,” he said.

The service is available on Sundays. A 7-seater Italian chopper Augusta 119 will fly one from Juhu beach till the Pagoda at Madh Island and back in just 15 minutes.

“Tourists want to have an aerial trip of Mumbai. The service is mainly targeted at Mumbaikars since such joyrides are common in America, Europe, Australia and Singapore,” he added.
