A 40-year-old auto rickshaw driver was arrested by Borivli police on Tuesday for allegedly raping his 17-year-old sister-in-law. Ramaswami Harijan, a resident of Borivli (west) has two wives who stay together. The victim is the younger sister of his first wife.
According to the police, at around 7pm on Tuesday, Harijan, a resident of the slum area on Chadavarkar Lane, came home in an inebriated state and forced his two wives out of the house.
