4 injured as armed dacoits attack water resort in Mumbai

Four persons were severely injured in an armed dacoity at a water resort in the wee hours on Friday at Kalyan, police said.

Police said the gang of dacoits, around 10-15 in number, armed with lethal weapons raided the Ammu Water resort around 2.30 am.

The dacoits decamped with DJ sets and other valuables after attacking the inmates with choppers and sharp weapons, injuring Rajesh Kumar Roy (25), Sambu Rajesh Roy (50), Gangaram Dhobi (35) and Vijay Mhatre (62), they said.

The wounded were admitted to the Central Hospital at Ulhasnagar, police said.

No arrests have been made yet and  police have launched a manhunt for the dacoits.
