Train derails in Kalyan

A Kalyan local train which was about to leave from Kalyan towards Chatrapati Shivaji Terminus (CST) at around 5.15pm the sixth coach got derail on October03. The reason said by the officer is some technical issue and they are working on it. As soon the train was derailed the trains towards Kalyan both fast and slow were cancel for about 10-15minutes. Which created all the main junction railway station got overcrowded.

A commuter from Thane railway station say that, "Its a festival day today and top,of that if such a news,comes in than how are we supposed,to,deal with. There has to be some,alternative within,the,time. The local which are kept under spare can be removed from yard and push,in for,work for the time being and within the distance till the problems get solve".

A officer from Kalyan railway station said that, "As soon as the local train towards CST got derail we rushed to the spot, there were no injuries reported. The local has just moved from platform no.1 and the sixth coach the wheels slipped from tracks and because which many commuters got jerked, but no one got injuries. The trains were delayed because the numbers of train that are running today are less as it is festival day but we have resumed the work normally by 6pm".
