Life Mantras, the first book in the Thoughts from Tihar trilogy that Roy penned, is an insightful retelling of his life experiences and lessons, his life-time observations as well as his insights on the day-to-day issues of people.

Subrata Roy Sahara, the managing worker and chairman of Sahara India Pariwar, launched his book – Life Mantras – an exhaustive and thought provoking treatise, on Monday across 5,120 special public events organised amid huge fanfare at different corporate establishments of Sahara India Pariwar.
Life Mantras, the first book in the Thoughts from Tihar trilogy that Roy penned, is an insightful retelling of his life experiences and lessons, his life-time observations as well as his insights on the day-to-day issues of people. The forthcoming books of the said trilogy, Think with Me and Reflections from Tihar will also be released soon. Sahara has been in the jail for close to two years now.
"After having gone through the book, you will definitely realise that to achieve peace, true happiness, contentment, satisfaction and also to attain continuous progress in life in terms of material gains, respect and love, you need not depend on anybody. It all depends on you. It is all in your hands," said Sahara, the founder and chairman of Sahara India Pariwar since 1978. Subrata Roy has been under the judicial custody of the Supreme Court of India at Tihar jail in connection with an ongoing case with market regulator SEBI, since March 2014.
