Veteran playback singer Udit Narayan's son, Aditya Narayan, once again invited trouble for himself after the Versova Police arrested him on Monday evening in a road accident case.

According to police, the incident took place on Monday afternoon when Narayan was driving his car near Lokhandwala back road, when, while taking a U-turn, his car banged into an autorickshaw. A female passenger, Surekha Shivekar (32), who was traveling in the auto, and the driver Rajkumar Palekar (64) sustained minor injuries. Although Narayan himself took the injured to Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital, the woman pressed charges on him and filed a complaint with the Versova Police Station.

"Narayan's car collided to the auto's backside while he was taking a U-turn. We have registered a case on a complaint by Shivekar and Narayan has been arrested. Both the injured are in a stable condition(sic)," said Dipak Deoraj, Mumbai Police spokesperson and deputy commissioner of police (operation).

Narayan has been booked under sections 279 (rash driving or riding on a public way) and 338 (causing grievous hurt by act endangering life or personal safety of others) of the Indian Penal Code.

Aditya had recently made headlines just a while ago for yet another wrong reason when he was caught in a brawl with an airline staff. A video, where the singer was threatening to 'strip off' the staff member, went viral and invited flak from fans on social media.
