Mumbai sessions court on Thursday rejected the anticipatory bail plea of self-styled godwoman Radhe Maa who has been accused in dowry harassment case.

The controversial godwoman had filed for an anticipatory bail in the court on Thursday morning.

KR Mehta, the complainant's lawyer told ANI, "Our main objection was that she is likely to abscond that is why she was avoiding to appear in police station on 14th. Now she (Radhe Maa) has to appear before police tomorrow, or else police can now arrest this lady."

Television actor and former devotee of controversial the god woman, Dolly Bindra, had written to the Mumbai Police Commissioner on Thursday complaining that she has received threatening calls and said that she suspected Radhe Maa?s involvement in the matter.

On Sunday, the Mumbai Police had issued summons to Radhe Maa for recording her statement in connection with a dowry harassment case and she has to appear within four days at the Kandivali Police station. The self-proclaimed 'god woman' became the talk of the town for her pictures in a short skirt that went viral on social media. She has also been accused by a 32-year-old woman of instigating her in-laws to demand dowry.
