The Cuffe Parade Residents Association (CPRA) is planning for an organic market for its residents and have decided to hold it once a week inside the posh buildings. The CPRA has 49 buildings with 4500 flats in both old and new Cuffe Parade and this will allow residents to purchase chemical free products easily.

The CPRA will also involve the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) for their support to promote organic products in the SoBo locality. The moving vans will have products such as fruits, colours, clothes, and cosmetics. A proper market will be set up at the open spaces every week and the residents will be informed about the products which will be directly supplied from farmers.

"We are speaking to vendors about it and are hopeful that both the residents and farmers will get benefitted from this market. We will soon start the market initiative for the residents and will be catering to the 49 building residents," said Padmakar Nandekar, Secretary General, CPRA.
