Tata Sons Chairman Emeritus has made one more investment in a start-up. This time, it is a funding marketplace LetsVenture that has received an undisclosed amount from Ratan Tata. Mohandas Pai, Chairman of Manipal global Education Tv has also invested in the start-up.

Tata Sons Chairman Emeritus has made one more investment in a start-up. This time, it is a funding marketplace LetsVenture that has received an undisclosed amount from Ratan Tata. Mohandas Pai, Chairman of Manipal global Education Tv has also invested in the start-up.
Both Tata and Pai will also act as advisors to the company.
LetsVenture acts as a middleman between start-ups and angel investors.

Along with Pai, last week, LetsVenture had raised Series A funding from Infosys co-founder Nandan Nilekani, Snapdeal's Kunal Bahl, Wipro's Rishad Premji. The amount of the investment has not been revealed.
The company will use the funds from the Series A capital to expand its business. It will also be in the lookout for more global investors, a media report has said.
So far, the two year old company has 1,200 investors on board from 20 countries, and has raised nearly Rs 110 crore for 53 startups.
