Here are a few things you could do with your partner when the heavens are pouring:
Watch a movie indoors. You could set the mood by lowering the lights, choosing a nice romantic movie you both love, take out the popcorn, pull out a blanket and snuggle up to each other.
A rainy day could be a good opportunity for you and your partner to experiment in the kitchen. Gather all that you need and start cooking. As you cook offer each other tastes of what you are cooking with fingers and spoons and by the end of it you could have a romantic meal to eat together.
Walking in the rains, holding hands is good way to tell your partner how much you love him/her.
You could also have an indoor picnic. Place a mat on your verandah and enjoy a glass of wine as you both watch the rain pour.
Fill up your tub and enjoy a nice warm bubble bath in each other’s arms.
Enjoy a long drive to the outskirts with your favourite music playing in the background. You can also get off the car and dance in the rain as the music continues to play.
Instead of having dinner at an expensive place, you could cook your favourite meal, dress up in your best attire and enjoy a candle lit dinner with your partner. A glass of red wine and soft music can add to the mood.
Order a pizza and play your favourite board game with a naughty twist, like a game of strip poker! Even a game of scrabble could be given a naughty twist. This will have you both having a blast !
