The seasoned travelers are looking for ultra luxury stay options and unexplored destinations. Needless to say, internet and mass media drives the travel information nowadays, but for the international travel and holiday mass still rely on conventional way of booking their international — business and holiday travel.
More and more people are now looking at international holidays as destinations abroad become more affordable compared to many Indian destinations.
Are cultural holidays are fast catching up in India?
In international sectors there is a small but negligible league looking for it. Of course with the Inbound travels it is always popular. In India, there is now a new trend of religious groups travelling abroad for meditation and religious learnings.
What are the evergreen tourist destinations for both foreign and domestic tourists?
The Asian countries — Thailand, Singapore and Malaysia, Europe —Switzerland, Spain, Italy, France are evergreen. Africa is growing big time. Kerala, Rajasthan, Haridwar and the Golden Triangle, the Buddhist sector, Varanasi and Khajuraho sector, Orissa and Eastern Coastal Belt, the temple route in Tamilnadu, the tropical and evergreen forests of India and Ladakh are popular in
India.
Is there any drastic change in the holiday/travel styles of the new age Indian travelers?
Most of the travelers are keen on relaxed holidays and adventure activities. They are more confident now, prefer individual travel against groups and are open to experiment any cuisine, adventure activities etc.
What are the preferred exotic getaways?
