Does architecture and interior design go hand in hand?
The interior space is an extension of the experience of the external architecture and, in an ideal scenario, they should go hand in hand. Taking the example of one of the masters, Frank Lloyd Wright, who always saw and believed in the completeness of the space design in all his works, I would like to quote, ‘The interior talking the same language as its architecture.’

Indian architecture has been one of the best in ancient times; do you think it can be said even for the present times?

What difference do you see in Indian way of construction as compared to the ones abroad?
Without getting into technicalities of the construction, I want to say that India, as in any other service industry, is a unique challenge. I believe that question is as clichéd as someone saying that women can’t run banks.

Does India fall behind when it comes to using technology in architecture?
Indian is not really too far behind to be perceived as a handicap.

According to you, which is a classic piece of Indian architecture?
The Taj Mahal — with its beautiful amalgamation of predominantly Muslim and influenced Hindu architecture.
