The A-listers of the country will be busy attending two high profile engagements today.
Two couples belonging to two leading industrialist houses are getting united today — one in Delhi, one in Mumbai. Saurabh Dhoot, son of Pradeep Kumar Dhoot of Videocon Industries is getting engaged to Radhika, daughter of Aarti and Sanjay Singal of Bhushan Steel in Delhi.
The event will be followed by an entertainment programme by Adnan Sami and Shreya Ghoshal. The guest list includes Delhi CM Sheila Dixit, Union Ministers Sharad Pawar, Praful Patel, Vilasrao Deshmukh and also Amar Singh. Cricketers Kapil Dev and Mohammad Azharuddin are also expected to attend the event. Delhi industrialists — Sunil Mittal of Bharti Industries, Pawan Kumar Sharma of Hero Honda, Navin Jindal of Jindal group, Mr Kanwar of Apollo Industries, DLF chairman KP Singh are also expected to be a part of the event.
The Ambani brothers, Rahul Bajaj, Subhash Chandra Goel and the Kirloskars are expected to fly down to Delhi from Mumbai especially to attend the ceremony.
Bollywood is expected to be represented by Shah Rukh Khan, accompanied by Suniel Shetty, Shatrughan Sinha and Rajpal Yadav.
The ceremony, especially supervised by the groom’s elder brother Aniruddh Dhoot, will have Japanese and Continental cuisine for dinner. The wedding will be held in February next year. Saurabh Dhoot looks after Planet M, Next retail business and also assists in the telecom business.
The other engagement is in Mumbai, at Taj Land’s End. Natasha, daughter of Vinod Mittal of Ispat Industries (brother of Lakshmi Mittal), is getting engaged to Varun Saraf. Varun is the son of Namitha and Arun Saraf, who are part owners of Grand Hyatt and are also known for their love for art.
