You can now immerse yourself in one of the most breathtaking UNESCO World Heritage Site, Victoria Falls.
Situated between southern African countries of Zambia and Zimbabwe, this enormous waterfall is known as the ‘greatest curtain of falling water’ in the world.
National Geographic shared an interactive 360-degree video on Facebook that takes you through the spectacular Victoria Falls, or as described by the Kololo tribe as ‘Mosi-oa-Tunya’ – ‘The Smoke that Thunders’ in the 1800s.
The video engages you in the beauty of Victoria Falls while you are as comfortable as resting on your couch. All you need is a smartphone or a desktop that lets you access the internet.
It is best advised to view the video on a mobile device where you can pan and tilt in order to indulge in the breath-taking view. You can also explore the enormity of Victoria Falls on your desktop with a mouse.
With the video, you can take a swim in the Devil’s Pool, better known as the dangerous infinity pool at the edge of Victoria Fall and feel the adrenaline rush.
