The pursuit of happiness: Some music for the soul

Let me admit that things can get stressful in my line of work. One of the biggest passions of my life is listening to Indian classical music and I thank my father for introducing me to this beautiful world when I was very young. I've always been an early riser and my day always starts with a hour or so of this music in the still silence of the morning. It gives me much peace and a sense of internal equilibrium. Among my favourites are Pt Nikhil Bannerjee, Ustad Vilayat Khan and Ustad Shujaat Khan. I'm lucky to count many musicians among my personal friends as well and getting together for musical baithaks with them whenever I can are moments I truly cherish.
