The team formed by the headquarters reached the Barmer Border Home Guard office and seized the documents of the candidates after allegations of corruption in the Border Home Guard recruitment process and the burning of bag of the deputy commandant.

Commandant Ganpat Singh Naruka had filed a complaint at the headquarters alleging that Deputy Commandant, Ravi Vyas and some high officials were putting pressure on him to select unfit candidates.The team also registered statements of the Commandant and Deputy Commandant. In addition, written statements were taken after getting information from the company commandant and other employees. Now, the investigation of the case will be under the direction of Home Guard DG Navdeep Singh.

Barmer Home Guard Commandant Ganpat Singh Naruka had alleged that unnecessary pressure was exerted on him to select unfit candidates in the recruitment process, after which the Deputy Commandant burnt his bag. He had alleged that he received a threat from the headquarters.

Commandant Naruka accused the deputy commandant for burning the documents and after registering the complaint to the Superintendent of Police.
