The group led by Harsh Mandar was on its way to Jaipur from Delhi and halted at Behror at the DCP office and demanded to know the details about the progress of investigations in the case and permission to pay respects to Pehlu Khan.

As the news spread in the small town, local Hindu groups of Behror also gathered and protested against Mandar and his team. Mandar was then safely escorted along the highway to Jaipur by the police.
