The State Government will recruit 35 thousand grade three teachers immediately after the Rajasthan Eligibility Examination for Teachers (REET). The REET exam will be conducted on about 2,600 examination centres on February 11. Following which the teacher recruitment advertisement will be issued.

Minister of State for Education, Vasudev Devnani held a review meeting on the preparation of REET on Monday. After the meeting Devnani told that the ‘REET’ advertisement will be issued for recruitment of 35 thousand posts of teachers in the state after the exam. About 10 lakh candidates will take part in the REET examination. The exam will be organised by Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education (RBSE).

Adequate arrangements have been made to prevent any kind of imitation through other electronic devices including mobile, bluetooth at the examination centres. 5 thousand CCTV cameras will be installed at the‘REET’ examination centers. Examination centers will be monitored through CCTV cameras. It will be ensured that the confidentiality of the exam is not breached at any level. He said that District Examination Steering Committees have been formed for conducting the ‘REET’ examination.

Strict vigil

  • If relatives of the Central Supervisor, the Central Observer, the Additional Central Officer, Supervisor, invigilator and other personnel is writing the exam at their examination centre,their duty will be shifted to other examination centre.
