Rajasthan State Road Transport Corporation to give free ride to job aspirants

Rajasthan State Road Transport Corporation (RSRTC) has given a much needed relief to hundreds of unemployed youth of the state.

It has decided that it will offer free ride to the candidates who will be going to appear for the interview of competitive examinations conducted by UPSC, RPSC and RSMSSB (Rajasthan state ministerial and subordinate selection board).

Giving the information, public relation officer of RSRTC Sudhir Bhati informed that for availing this benefit, the candidates will have to make available admit card and domicile certificate of Rajasthan and can get the free ticket from the conductor. However, this facility will be given only in general and express bus service of roadways and wont be given in deluxe and air condition bus service of Rajasthan Roadways.

RPSC and RSMSSB has in last few months released bumper vacancies for the youth of the state and lakhs of young people are currently preparing for these competitive examinations.

This is not the first time that Rajasthan Roadways has made such a gesture, it offers free ride to women of the state on the festival of Rakhi too. The financial burden of this scheme will be calculated as per a order of 2011 in which details regarding concessional travel is given.
