Though, weathermen have made a forecast that the monsoon has rainfall for Rajasthan in its kitty within a couple of days.

After a long wait of rains, as southwest monsoon had taken a break in Rajasthan for some weeks, parts of state finally received some showers on Tuesday morning. Though, this fresh spell of light showers did not provide much respite to the people waiting for rainfall as dry and humid condition prevailed again during the daytime that made people continue to sweat.
Though, weathermen have made a forecast that the monsoon has rainfall for Rajasthan in its kitty within a couple of days.
As per MeT department report, 0.4 mm of rainfall occurred in Jaipur during wee hours of Tuesday. These showers, occurred in patches, brought the night temperatures below normal level as the minimum temperature was recorded at 24.2 degrees Celsius. But as the day progressed, despite isolated cloud activities in the sky over the city, humidity increased and the maximum temperature was recorded at 34.5 degrees Celsius which was three degrees above normal level. As per forecast from MeT, there will be the cloudy sky in Jaipur and light to moderate rain is likely to occur on Wednesday. Maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to be around 33 and 26 degrees Celsius respectively during the next 24 hours.
According to the local MeT office report, light to moderate rainfall occurred at isolated places in East Rajasthan and weather remained dry in West Rajasthan during the last 24 hours. Lalsot (Dausa) recorded rainfall of 30 mm while Bamanwas (Sawai Madhopur), Rajgarh (Alwar), Chaksu (Jaipur) and Jaipur Tehsil each recorded 20 mm of rainfall. Rajakhera (Dholpur), Niwai (Tonk), Amer (Jaipur), Pratapgarh (Pratapgarh), Malerainadunger (Sawai Madhopur) and Jamwaramgarh (Jaipur) each recorded 10 mm of rainfall on Tuesday.
