Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) chief Dr Mohan Rao Bhagwat, who is on a 10-day Pravas in the state, on Saturday instructed that there should be a daily shakha of the sangh in each mandal unit.
Bhagwat reached Nagaur on Saturday morning. He will stay there for five days and take part in different programmes. The two-day Mandal Karyavah Abyas Varg (training camp) of the Jodhpur prant began on Saturday. RSS volunteers of mandal level have the responsibility of five to seven villages. While addressing the inaugural session of the Abhyas Varg, Bhagwat said that it is necessary to build a cultured and organised society to make India a powerful and prosperous nation.
For this, the daily shakhas should be expanded at the mandal level. Sangh’s daily shakha expansion should be done at the village level. About 1200 volunteers from the Jodhpur prant are participating in the Varg. These include the Karyavah of the 958 mandals. Bhagwat will address Vanprasthi workers on September 24 in Nagaur.
