Flower valley developed near Udaipur

The forest department has developed it as a new tourist spot on the directions given by Home Minister Gulab Chand Kataria.

The lake city of Udaipur is considered as one of the most beautiful cities of the world, and is also becoming the first choice of the visitors. 

In order to increase the tourist attraction, new tourist destinations have been developed around the city in the last few years. In the same direction, the development of the Chiravah dam has been done recently. The valley is being loved by the residents as well as the tourists.

The forest department has developed it as a new tourist spot on the directions given by Home Minister Gulab Chand Kataria. This valley made on NH8 attracts vehicles passing by . Officers of the Forest Department spent Rs. 1.6 crore under the Indian government’s campus scheme and developed the place as a floral valley.

Deputy Forest Guard of Udaipur North OP Sharma said that an information centre is also developed which provides the information regarding flora and fauna. Four watching towers have been developed for the tourists to see the beautiful scenery and enjoy the adventure of the place. A zipline has also been installed for the same. The new tourist attraction has given employment to15 youths of the Amberi village.

The floral valley was opened for public on August 3. Now, horse safari will also start  soon for the tourists. In the process to make the tourism site more attractive, rock formations will be developed here in the next phase. At the same time, a Shiva statue of 25 feet high will also be made by the marble association. In order to enter the forest park, the entrance fee is Rs10 and Rs30 for the locals and Rs100 for the foreign tourists.
