Congress kicks off rally from Chittorgarh

The election campaign of the Congress party has begun in Rajasthan with the Sankalp Rally from the Udaipur division on Friday. In Sanwaliyaji Temple of Chittor, a huge gathering including, PCC Chief Sachin Pilot, former Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot, State Head Avinash Pandey, former Union Minister CP Joshi and other dignitaries were a part of the occasion. 

With the start of Sankalp Rally, the Congress is aiming to reach  out to the people of state. Pilot took a resolution before the the people of Udaipur division that their party will not allow even a single farmer to die, every effort will be made to eliminate unemployment, strict action will be taken for the safety of women and the party will not cheat the public. With this, Pilot also claimed to win elections on all the seats of Mewar and to form a government in Rajasthan.

Congress’s National Secretary Ashok Gehlot was also seen attacking the current central and state governments while addressing the crowd during the Sankalp Rally. Targeting the BJP government, Gehlot said that this government has only cheated the people. 

Gehlot also spoke on the Gaurav Yatra and said that the government has done no work other than ruining all the plans of the Congress government. The government has not given anything to the public, he said.
