Youth who shot himself after murdering girl in Lucknow dies

A youth, who shot himself after killing a teenaged girl for refusing his friendship proposal, died in a hospital in Lucknow today.

Ashish Verma, 25, who shot dead Sakshi Singh, 18, a student of Class XII yesterday in Saketpuri area after the girl allegedly refused his friendship proposal and declined to sit on his motorbike, died in the hospital, officials said.

Verma, who was undergoing treatment at Truama Centre after he shot himself, died this morning, they said.
