Youth kills wife over illicit affair in Azamgarh

A youth allegedly killed his wife and seriously injured his son in Karmaini village here this morning, police said. The man allegedly attacked his wife with a sharp-edged weapon, killing her on the spot.

His son, who was with his mother, also received serious injuries in the attack. The youth has been arrested, police said, adding he has confessed to have killed his wife over her alleged illicit affair.
