Youth arrested on rape charges in Jammu and Kashmir

Rohit Sharma, the accused, lured a 19-year-old girl and took her to a forest area in Nibla village of Ramnagar tehsil early today where the incident occurred, police said.

Police today arrested a youth for allegedly raping a teenage girl in Udhampur district of Jammu and Kashmir.

Rohit Sharma, the accused, lured a 19-year-old girl and took her to a forest area in Nibla village of Ramnagar tehsil early today where the incident occurred, police said.

The victim herself informed the matter to the police.

A case has been registered against Sharma, they said, adding a medical examination was conducted on the girl.
