A woman was swept away in flash floods following heavy rains at Ghurana village of Hawalbagh area of this district, official sources today said.

A woman was swept away in flash floods following heavy rains at Ghurana village of Hawalbagh area of this district, official sources today said.

Ghurana village and adjoining areas received heavy rains coupled with hailstorm yesterday triggering flash floods in which Neeta Tamta, 28, was swept away.

The heavy rains in the area have also damaged the standing crops in the fields.
