A young woman allegedly committed suicide at her residence in the national capital, police said today.
The incident was reported from Amar Colony last night and the victim has been identified as Shelly, wife of one Gautam. They were staying in a rented accommodation here.
Shelly, who hails from West Bengal, was found hanging by her husband when he returned from a private firm in which he is working. They were married for the past one year.
A suicide note was found in which Shelly claimed that no one is responsible for her taking the extreme step.
An inquiry by the sub divisional magistrate has been ordered.
