Congress on Monday dismissed with contempt Arvind Kejriwal's remarks calling MPs "rapists, murderers and looters", suggesting that the Team Anna member himself has feet of clay as he had not cleared his Income Tax dues.

"Who is he to give such epithets (to lawmakers) when he has himself not given his IT dues. I will not bother to give a reaction", party spokesperson Renuka Chaudhary said.

Kejriwal's remarks have evoked sharp criticism by several political parties with RJD saying it will bring a privilege notice against him in Parliament.

Some parties have said the "outrageous" remark by Anna Hazare's close aide was an "insult" to Parliament and it showed that Kejriwal had "no faith" in democracy and the Constitution.

Addressing an election rally two days back in Ghaziabad near Delhi in Uttar Pradesh, Kejriwal had said, "In this Parliament, 163 members have cases of heinous offences against them. In this Parliament, rapists are sitting, murderers and looters are sitting. How can you expect Jan Lokpal Bill to be passed by Parliament? How can you expect that you can get reprieve from poverty and corruption."
