VS Achuthanandan alleges conspiracy by UDF to create violence in Kerala

Kerala chief minister VS Achuthanandan today alleged that the Congress-led UDF opposition was hatching a conspiracy to create violence during the coming assembly polls and the death of five IUML activists engaged in making bombs was an indication of that.

The death of five activists of IUML, a partner in the UDF, at Narikkattiri in Kozhikode when they were engaged in making bombs was a clear indication of that, Achuthanandan told reporters here today.

Slamming the UDF for the incident, Achuthanandan wanted opposition leader Oommen Chandy to apologise to the people owning responsibility for the mishap.

Achuthanandan also said government would sternly deal with the violence.

Five persons were killed and three injured when the country bombs they were manufacturing exploded in Nadapuram.
