In a bid to create awareness on woman and child health in rural areas, the UNICEF today launched a project in five districts in Rajasthan.
"The 'Youth unity for village advancement' project launched in collaboration with the state government at Barmer, Baran, Sawaimadhopur, Dungarpur and Tonk districts aims to generate awareness on quality maternal, newborn and child health and nutrition services," UNICEF Country Representative Karin Hulshof told a press conference here.
It also aims to mobilise and empower families and communities to join the child survival and development movement, she said.
