Two ULFA militants nabbed in Assam's Morigaon district

Morigaon (Assam): Two suspected United Liberation Front of Asom (ULFA) militants were apprehended by security personnel in a joint operation in Assam's Morigaon district today.


The joint operation was conducted by Assam and Meghalaya police, CRPF and army personnel near Jagiroad along the Assam-Meghalaya border and the duo identified, police said.

A 9 mm pistol with six rounds of ammunitions and a motorcycle have been recovered from the two militants, the police added.
