Two sun-stroke deaths in Orissa

Two sunstroke deaths were reported in Orissa's Sundargarh district where the temperature has remained at over 45 degree Celsius for the last one week.

Two sunstroke deaths were reported in Orissa's Sundargarh district where the temperature has remained at over 45 degree Celsius for the last one week.

Official sources said a bus driver, Khagesh Kumar Jha (23) died at Kalunga, near here and a WESCO employee Suryamani Sathua (40) at Rajamunda under Lahunipara police limits, 80 km from here yesterday.

With the two deaths, a total of 18 persons have so far died in Sundargarh district due to sun-stroke this summer.
