In two separate incidents, two schoolgirls went missing on the same day. Anjali and Rupa (names changed), students of St Kabir School and Asia English School, respectively, went missing on September 27.

According to a source in the police, Anjali, who is the adopted daughter of Shailesh Chandarana, a resident of Snehadri apartments near Shreyas tekra, had stepped out of her house to see garba. The 17-year old, however, failed to return home after which her father filed a complaint.

A complaint has been registered at the Satellite police station in this regard.

However, when he went to the place later to pick her up he was told by a teacher, Ashustosh, that Rupa had attended classes but left at around 5:15 pm, complaining of deteriorating health condition.

Kids found unconscious
Two boys were found in a semi-conscious state at the waiting room of Kalupur Railway station on Tuesday. People at the station called the emergency medical service 108, which rushed them to the Civil hospital. Initial reports suggest that the children had consumed poison. The two children were aged four and five.
Railway PI RM Jadeja said the children cannot speak Gujarati.  "They seemed very scared. They even refused to give their name. They can only speak Hindi." He said initial inquiry has revealed that some people saw a woman leaving the two children at the waiting room.   The children were admitted to the civil hospital and their situation is now out of danger.
