Two killed, 23 injured in separate road accidents in Bihar

Two persons were killed and 23 others injured, eight of them seriously, in two separate road accidents in Bihar's Kishanganj and Gopalganj districts today, police said.
        
Rahul Kumar and Vikas were killed on the spot and three others critically injured when their vehicle rammed into a stationary truck on NH 31 at a place between Kishanganj and
Islampur.
        
In another road incident, twenty persons were injured, five of them seriously, when a bus in which they were travelling collided head-on with a truck coming from opposite direction near Konhawa village under Mufassil police station limits of Gopalganj district, police said.
       
The critically injured passengers were referred to Gorakhpur in Uttar Pradesh for better medicare whereas 15 others, who had sustained minor injuries, released after giving first-aid at Gopalganj Sadar Hospital.
       
The drivers of both the bus and truck were absconding since the incident.
