A day after four police officials including a police inspector were transferred for their alleged involvement in criminal activities, two police constables were arrested by the Sardarnagar police on Thursday in connection with a loot case.
Harish Balwani, the complainant told the police that he was looted by police constable Vikramsinh Gadhvi and Narendra Barhat, when he was on his way to Ahmedabad from Mumbai on March 8.
In his complaint, Balwani said that he was kidnapped from the parking section of the airport and later two cops threatened to frame him in a false case and looted him of Rs700 and two gold rings.The police arrested Gadhvi and Barhat in connection with the case.

with the Sardarnagar police station, while Gadhvi was posted at the police head quarters in Shahibaugh," police inspector, Sardarnagar police station, DH Goswami told DNA.Goswami said the two gold rings worth Rs25,000 and Rs700 cash were recovered from the duo.
Balwani had mentioned in his complainant that he had parked his Activa scooter at the airport and went to Mumbai to purchase some clothes. On his return he was looted by the duo.
"The police constables stopped him and told him that he was drunk. They then kidnapped him from near the airport parking," a police source told DNA. The police source said that the duo also slapped him and threatened to frame himin a false case under theProhibition Act.
"I was taken near the Hanuman Temple and they demanded Rs20,000 from me to settle the matter," the complainant said. When Balwani refused to give the money, they took all the money in his pocket and two gold rings.
