Torrent, Adani recruit nine CAs

On the second day of campus placement at the Ahmedabad branch of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) on Thursday, Torrent Group and Adani Group recruited nine students. Both the corporates interviewed around 85 students.

Torrent Group has adopted six CAs, while Adani Group selected three students. The students might be disappointed with the offers as Adani Group has offered highest package of Rs4 lakh, while Torrent Group has offered Rs3.5 lakh. It should be noted that the average package offered to the students on the first day of the campus placement was around Rs6 lakh with highest packaged at Rs7.25 lakh.

The government-owned oil company Oil and Natural Gas Commission (ONGC) will interview students on the third and final day of campus placement as Ahmedabad branch of ICAI on Friday.
