Three persons arrested for robberies in AP

Three persons who were involved in several robberies in the district have been arrested by the Rayachoty police.
 
"The gang had attacked a jewellery shop proprietor and robbed 4 kg jewellery worth Rs60 lakh and 1,399 gm worth Rs20 lakh on April last," Pulivendala sub-divisional police officer (SDPO) Khaleel Soudhagar told reporters here yesterday.
 
The gang, led by one Subba Reddy, was arrested on October 1 and we recovered 263 gm of gold, he said.
 
Fourteen members of various districts were formed as inter-district criminal gang and were conducting robberies, he added.
