Three Nepalese held with arms in Uttarakhand

Kalu Sarki, Gulab Bohra and Dil Bohra were arrested when they were roaming in the area yesterday and the patrolling police personnel asked them to stop.

Police have arrested three Nepalese along with arms near Tanakpur bridge bordering Nepal, police today said.

Kalu Sarki, Gulab Bohra and Dil Bohra were arrested when they were roaming in the area yesterday and the patrolling police personnel asked them to stop. During checking, police also recovered a gun of 12 bore, a cartridge and a 'khukhri' from their possession.

During investigations, it was found that Sarki has a criminal record in Nepal while Bohra was sacked from Nepalese army.

Police has booked them under Arms Act.
