Three killed in road mishap in Gujarat

A Road transport officer (RTO), his wife and driver died when their car collided with a mini-truck coming from the opposite side, in Dhansura taluka of Sabarkantha district here today, police said.
     
The incident took place near on the Modasa-Bayad road when car carrying Ganpat Jaiswal, RTO, Nadiad district, his wife Premila collided with a mini-truck coming from the opposite side, they said.
     
According to police Jaiswal, his wife and his driver Gajendrasinh Darbar died on the spot.
    
Jaiswal was on his way to Nadiad from his native place Modasa in Sabarkantha district, when the incident took place, they said.

A case has been registered against the driver of the truck who is absconding, police said, adding further investigation is on.
