Three killed in clash over land dispute in Jammu

There was a land dispute between the families of Rajinder Singh and Arjun Singh. The two sides clashed this morning in Shama Chak area of Ramgarh border belt, 45 kms from Jammu.

A youth shot dead three persons, including two brothers, following a clash over a piece of land in Samba district today, police said.

According to the police, there was a land dispute between the families of Rajinder Singh and Arjun Singh. The two sides clashed this morning in Shama Chak area of Ramgarh border belt, 45 kms from here.

Rajinder allegedly fired at the two brothers Arjun and Prehlad, killing them on the spot, police said, adding one of their relatives Gain Singh succumbed to bullet injuries in the hospital.

A case has been registered in the incident.

In separate incident, one Munshi Ram was axed to death by Chander Mohan in Lopara village of Kishtwar district last night, they said, adding the accused was arrested.
