Thee killed in road accident in Tamil Nadu

Rajendra Mahandia (45) his wife Sumindha Mahandhia (42) were on their way to Rameswaram to offer worship at Ramanatha Swamy temple from Vellore when the mishap occurred.

Three persons, including two pilgrims from Bihar were killed and two children injured when their car collided with a roadside tree at Kamuthakudi near here today, police said.
   
Police said Rajendra Mahandia (45), a readymade garment merchant in Bihar's Kalirmandhia, his wife Sumindha Mahandhia (42) were on their way to Rameswaram to offer worship at Ramanatha Swamy temple from Vellore when the mishap occurred.
   
Rajendra Mahandia had underwent some treatment at a hospital in Vellore.
   
Their two children escaped with minor injuries.
   
The car driver also died in the accident, police said.
