'The status I have got today is only because of my ancestors'

Congress general secretary, Rahul Gandhi said here today that he has reached the status where he is now thanks to his father, grandmother and great grandfather.
        
"Main apne pita, nani aur pardada ke bina us jagah par nahin pahunch sakta tha jahan main aaj hoon," he told a press conference.

During his interaction with students in four educational institutions yesterday also, Rahul had said that he was in politics because of his family.

He had also said that this was one way of entering politics and he was an example of this.
