Teenaged sisters commit suicide in Muzaffarnagar

Two sisters in their teens allegedly committed suicide by consuming poison after their parents stopped them from stepping out of their house unchaperoned in Kutesra village in the district, police said today.

The parents of Sanno(15) and Nazma (13) were opposed to their venturing out of their house alone following which the sisters consumed poison yesterday, they said.

The duo was rushed to a hospital, where they were declared brought dead, they said.
    
In another incident, a 35-year old man allegedly committed suicide over a family dispute at Nathipura village in the district, police said.

Har Singh's body was found hanging from the roof of his house, they said.
