Prime Minister Manmohan Singh's public meeting at Sakhalim in poll-bound Goa was briefly interrupted after the sound system on the dais developed a snag.

As Singh was almost midway through his speech, the sound system suddenly went off. However, unaware that he was not audible, he continued addressing the gathering till he realised about the glitch.

The meeting was organised in north Goa in the run-up to March 3 assembly polls.

Congress leaders were seen trying to fix the problem even as the Prime Minister waited before he resumed his speech after the rectification.

NCP leader Praful Patel, Chief Minister Digambar Kamat, Goa Pradesh Congress Committee president Subhash Shirodkar and other congress leaders were on the dais.
