Swedish national found unconscious in West Delhi

A Swedish national was found unconscious near a Metro station in west Delhi with police today investigating whether he was a victim of a gang who allegedly drugged and robbed him.

Mannie, who is aged between 35-40 years-old, was found unconscious outside Paschim Vihar Metro Station yesterday by a passerby, V Renganathan, deputy commissioner of police (west), said.

He was rushed to a nearby hospital where he is undergoing treatment.

"He is not in a position to speak. He has just told us his name. We have approached Swedish embassy and provided them details about the incident. We are waiting for him to regain his health," Renganathan said.

He said police do not know what all things have been robbed.
