Strong wave in favour of RJD-LJP alliance: Lalu Prasad

Claiming that a strong wave was perceptible in favour of the RJD-LJP alliance, RJD leader Lalu Prasad today said the alliance would storm to power with two third majority in the state assembly.

"A strong wave is perceptible in favour of our alliance which is set to romp to victory to form its government with two third majority", Prasad said, while admitting expelled BSP leader Shyam Lal Kushwaha, ruling JD(U) leaders Ramkrishna Bharati and Rajesh Choupal into his party fold.

Prasad said another JD(U) leader Veena Sahi had already joined his party and a "number of leaders are to follow suit."

The RJD leader said he had started holding meeting with the leaders aspiring to contest the elections and winnability would be the first priority before allotting them to the party symbol.

Calling Nitish Kumar as "outgoing chierf miniister", Prasad, the chief ministerial candidate for the RJD-LJ alliance, said people had made up their mind to throw the NDA led by Nitish out of power.

Alleging that Nitish Kumar government was "failure on all fronts", he said "Nitish Kumar's claim of good governance was claim made on heaps of sand which had apparently collapsed".

He accused Nitish Kumar government of "failing to properly utilise" the funds that was given to Bihar by the centre when he was the railway minister.
