Six labourers killed as jeep collides with truck in Uttar Pradesh

Six labourers were killed and a dozen others seriously injured when the jeep in which they were travelling collided with a truck in Mahamayanagar today, home department sources said here.
   
The accident took place when the jeep carrying labourers to Hathras collided with a truck laden with empty bottles from a soft drink factory on the Hathras road, killing two of them on the spot.
   
Four others succumbed to injuries in hospital, sources said, adding the injured were admitted to primary health centre, Sikandrarau and other hospitals.
