Six killed, 14 injured in Rajastan road mishap

Six people, including a woman and and an infant, were killed and 14 others injured in a road accident today in Rajasthan's Nagaur district, about 287 km from Jaipur, police said.

The accident took place on the Kishangarh-Hanumangarh mega highway when a jeep - on its way to Kuchaman from Didwana - collided head-on with a truck.

The injured were rushed to a nearby hospital, where six were declared brought dead by doctors, they said, adding the condition of two was serious.
